This past year has been an interesting one concerning end time
prophecies. The big story of
course was Harold Camping’s prediction that the rapture would occur
on May 21st, 2011.
Jesus did not return, and Harold has publicly apologized for his
mistake. "I should not
have said that, and I apologize.
God is merciful."
What is sad is so many people believed his prophecy instead of
listening to the words of Jesus.
“But
of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of
heaven, but my Father only.”
Matthew 24:36
I suspect 2012 will be the year of the misguided prophet.
Already, many are looking to the Mayan calendar and
predicting the end of the world will occur on December 21st,
2012. Scores of them are descending upon the little town of
Bugarach France:
